And people still think that Martinez is ducking Pirog? I like Pirog, he gave a good fight against Jacobs but the reality here is that he's happy fighting in Russia getting over 1 million per fight while fighting bad opposition. I hope he tries to get good fights in USA or even in central europe, but I don't think he'll get out of Russia.Comment

It's clear by now that the only network willing to feature Pirog is ESPN. All these guys you mention have top promoters and are able to get better gigs than FNF, to various degrees. Why isn't anyone making Pirog an offer for one of their HBO/SHO slots, it's a title shot? The only thing that surfaced was a proposal for Manfredo on FNF, and even that was no more than a rumor, Chavez's people were after Manfredo then.Comment

I think the best comments here refer to Banner Promotions doing a job that doesn't much help Pirog to get exposure in the US. Childish posts like Pirog is happy to defend his title in Russia rather seem to express their upset feelings why Pirog won't show up on American soil again. I'm also disappointed the unification between Pirog vs Gaele never materialized, but to blame the fighter shows pure understanding of the business. TV stations and weak promoters spoiled the show.Comment
