No he didn't. There were close rounds that could have gone either. But you can't give every close round to Marquez just because he's the underdog. Which is what most ended up doing while watching the fight. Especially when one fighter throws 100 more punches and lands more at a higher percentage.

The whole ESPN crew scored the fight a draw.
Dan Rafael, Kieran Mulvaney, Brian Campbell all scored it 114-114.

Kellerman also scored it a draw. In fact, about 20% or so of all media scorecards were draws. The rest of the scores. The amount favoring Marquez and those who favored PAC were close.

It's so obvious that most guys responding to Ring Magazine were JMM fans, Mexicans, Floyd fans. Grouped together as a whole, that's a lot of people.

Mexicans usually know their boxing. But when it comes to their own fighters, sometimes the casual ones get a bit biased and favor their own fighters. It's only natural. Same thing with Filipinos and asians, and the same thing with black people.

The fight was close.
