His lawyers know hes guilty. The Judge knows hes guilty. But most importantly, Floyd himself knows hes guilty.

lol it's obvious to me there are alot of ******* in here. who have no idea how nasty women can be and men always get ****ed by the law in these type of cases but in the end of the day i think Floyd did the right thing and just because you plead for no contest doesn't mean you are guilty it just means you are not willing to risk going to jail for a very long time over a lie and even if the allegations are the truth he got a good deal

I don't know about his guilt or innocence, but lets not act like innocent people have never plead guilty or taken pleas to crimes they didn't necessarily commit.
It works both ways. How much of a case did the prosecution really think they had if they were really willing to not vigorously pursue trial and give him 30+ years and instead settle for just 90 days? From felony charges and 30 years in prison to misdemeanors and settling for 90 days. That doesn't say anything about their confidence in their case?
Most of what they care about when they have a less than stellar cases against people is to scare the bejeezus out of people with the potential sentences and simply ensure a guilty plea to a deal for less or no jail time which most people see as being lucky and relieving to get. For the most part, this happens to people who cannot afford top lawyers and drag out a trial as long as possible, taking a toll on your personal life, work, and finances. For the prosecution, it keeps their conviction rate as close to 99th percentile as possible, that is how it works sometimes.
All these things are dealt with well before the day in court, and both parties work on these offers together.
