The point deductions were brought on by Khan, not by the ref. Khan should be lucky he took points off for pushing, which I thought was kind of weird compared to what else he was doing.

the scores were 115-110, 112-113 & 112-113.
without any deductions at all khan would have had 1 point extra advantage on the above cards bringing them to 117-111, 114-114 & 114-114 which constitutes a majority draw.
if they deducted 1 pt from peterson for a kd but no points from khan the cards would have been 117-110, 114-113, 114-113, close unanimous decision win for khan.
any way you look at this it's obvious khan didn't do enough to win, and in best case for khan, the fight was a draw. he only could have won in an unfair scenario where peterson would be punished, and khan got a pass for his many fouls (intentional headbutts, pushing and hitting on break). i am still a khans fan, but he needs to get back to the drawing board and make some changes. i'd start with the trainer.

A rematch is required imho, but I'm not sure if one should be mandated.
Didn't Peterson agree to rematch Khan?
I'm sure I can remember reading that he had no problem with a rematch.

Funny that Khan was talking about Mayweather, but now he has to solve the Peterson "puzzle". Styles makes fights, but Bradley is still the man at 140. I wouldn't mind a rematch. Khan should have the game to beat Peterson, I wanna see if he can take it to another level, because he will need to for Bradley at 140, let alone Mayweather at 147.
