A lot of people for some reason love to blame Arum for everything. Now Arum is no saint of course not...But, Pac is more than happy going along with the shenanigans. And, plus he has nothing to lose. Because, instead of people pointing the finger and putting the blame on Pac. They will point the finger and put the blame on Arum.
And, Arum is more than willing to take all the criticism cuz' he really doesn't give a damn. He would take the focus off Pac and put it on himself.

If Arum/Mannys Camp make the next fight with Cotto or JMM, they are just pure cowards, there is nothing else to say. There are 6-8 solid WW's to choose from to make a great fight and they may pick one guy (JMM) who will never be allowed win a decision over Manny even if Manny tied his hands behind his back and another guy who Manny already beat and stopped. WOW. I know *******s will never admit to anything but I hope the rest of the boxing world sees what going on with Arum/TR.
Arum you are a piece of total ****!!

I have always argued against the idea that Pac(and Floyd for that matter) is/are ducking Martinez...Pac doesn't belong anywhere higher than 147. He just too small...I don't care that he won a bogus vacant title in a BS match up at a catch-weight of 150. He doesn't belong higher than 147. WW is his limit.
However, if he fights Cotto at 154. Then you gotta say he's ducking Martinez...What excuses would it be to go above WW once again for a title and yet not fight Martinez, while he's willing to come down and meet you as low as 150?
Unless he will fight Cotto somewhere between 147-150 which would be laughable. But, yet not surprising when it comes to this camp.
I agree 100% with every single thing that you said, again.
Yes, including your second point, regardless as to my documented position regarding Martinez. The reason why is..... FACT: you cannot talk it, unless you walk it, and Pac has talked it, so he should walk it.
You nailed it..... " what weight " ?..... that is the question alright.
It should either be 147 or 154, but I dont really regard Cotto as a JMW either, so?
Who knows.
Fighting Cotto at 150+ is blatantly ducking Martinez, no question, but will some suggest that 147-149 is an attempt to drain Cotto?
I am not necessarily suggesting that, just saying that I am sick and tired of these unnecessary conditions that taint achievements in hindsight.

Now he has the chance to make another fight with his cash cow, and who are the options? Top Rank fighters. Another in-house fight. And, Arum does not look bad doing this. So you can't blame him. He saw the opportunity for yet another in-house fight without having all the fans criticize him. Arum will say, 'well it's not my fault Floyd got locked up' and the media will run along with that.
Good business move by Bob Arum. Remember it's business first, I gotta hand it to him and I really can't hate on him for this.
That is exactly what I meant.
It saved Arum from having to continue faking another negotiation, because it wasn't working, he was being exposed by Thompson, Schaefer, Ellerbe, and surprisingly, Michael Marley.

The earliest Pac would be ready is by when? June, according to Arum? When is the Puerto Rican day parade? June...Coincidence? I think not. This been the plan all along...
They didn't bring the month of June out of their ass. They know exactly what happens on that month. And, of course they have the best Puerto Rican fighter going right now to make that event happen.

Bradley would be interesting too he's young, very good condition, likes to scrap. Mayweather jr. is on a whole nother level though skill 4 skill he likely should have gotten the Fighter of decade award had he have been more active and not in retirement at that time.
Ducking a lightweight for 3 years until you knew that he looked old, fat, and slow at welter..... will cost your pride.
Demanding a catch-weight that is higher than you have ever made yourself in order to disadvantage your opponent..... will cost your dignity
But being pummeled around the ring and out-punched by a 38yo midget who you tried to setup and disadvantage on the scales..... is PRICELESS !!
