His story is a pretty sad one, so much potential wasted by addiction. I work in a homeless shelter so I see this kind of thing all of time; bright, funny and engaging people living from bottle to bottle to bottle. They desperately drift in through the door like the living dead, staggering, mumbling and wasted. When you listen to their stories it's incredible how far some people are willing to fall without admitting they have a problem. It doesn't matter how many relationships are ruined or jobs are lost, all that matters is the liquid denial they have in front of them.

It doesn't matter how bad Pavlik’s life seems to us, all that matters is how much he is willing to take before he says "enough."

Great ****ing advice from some nerd postin behind a keyboard. Kelly Pavlik was once one of the superstars of boxing and as we all know he's had problems with da booze, but the guy's not even 30 yet. Point is, he's got time to get his **** together, get back into fighting shape and make another title run. He got arrested riding an atv drunk; it's not like he was arrested domestic abuse or anything like that..
