jermainerambo just made up that quote. the real calzaghe would have said "ward's a fine fighter but at the end of the day i have too much speed and energy for him. i simply refuse to lose. undefeated! lacy!"

Roid Jones was struggling with the quiet man's inside game and needed the ref's help, I give Ward's roughhouse style a decent shot at nullifying Jones and Calzaghe already beat him.

Good fight id say, very competitive. Calzaghe on points IMO.

Ruiz was a heavyweight, of course you dont want to fight inside with someone who's naturally that much heavier than you. Prime Jones at 168 wipes the floor with both tbh.

As for Calzaghe-Ward, I would lean towards Ward. He's a more complete fighter and a better boxer.

Both fighters are better than any fighter on eithers resume so it would be interesting to see how a fight between them would go. Both have very high ring inteligence, comparable speed, deceptivly strong and similar power.

I think he would have beaten him. I don't agree with him having too much "power" for him but his style would have given him hell.
