I know Miranda is done, he looked terrible in his last fight.

I just don't believe Cleverly is that good, leaves himself so open, neglects his boxing etc.
I thought Miranda looked decent in his last fight and his punches are just as hard at light heavyweight than they were at middle weight. In the early rounds of his last fight, he took some good shots; towards the 4-6th rounds he was using much more head movement and boxing well, although he stands 'in the pocket' too much and doesn't utitlize a helluva lot of lateral movment...

That said, I like his chances against Cleverly. In Cleverly's last fight (I forget the guy's name) he got tagged a lot and took awhile to get into his rythmn find his range and fight his fight. Against a big punching guy like Miranda, you can't afford to lose early rounds and take his punches...

Cleverly isn't really very good or a hard puncher, Miranda could ko him.

        Cleverly easily outboxes Miranda.

Miranda has power yes, but he has **** stamina if he throws a lot and is pretty slow.

Cleverly may need his chin checked, but Bellew is pretty fast and has a good jab. Out jabbing Cleverly is the key.

        Miranda is limited.

Cleverley is overrated. He's done nothing so far and yet is hyped massively.

I'd love for Miranda to KO him in Wales.

If his nickname refers to the band, he's definitely gained a fan! But doubt he likes heavy metal.....

Cleverly would stop him, Cleverly is very strong and can take a punch.

I'd hope that the parallel you were making ends there and that you weren't insinuating one with regards to Cleverly's "limited opposition" (JW, because the comparison immediately followed that remark). Froch has dealt with a variety of styles at the world class level. When Cleverly steps in with the class of opponent Froch has stepped in with, I think we'll see the difference in toughness and conditioning between him and Froch.
You are correct in assuming that is where the comparison stopped, I don't feel Cleverly will be anywhere near Froch's level any time soon. Froch had a much better amateur pedigree too, Cleverly turned pro young.

I like this fight. Miranda has a punchers chance plus much more experience.

Miranda didn't look all that bad in his last fight against a significant opponent (Despaigne).

I missed his bout on the Froch undercard, though.

Exactly what I was thinking. And he's been hit a lot harder than Cleverly will hit him. Nathan will have to (be able to) control the range diligently.
