Smoger himself said Cotto was starting to get worn down by Margarito. Now would Margarito have been able to stop Cotto in the next couple of rounds? Its unlikely but I guess we won't know.

EVERYBODY gets worn down as the rounds go by, EVERYONE. What most people still defending Margarito can't bring themselves to say is that there wasn't one time when Margarito landed one single punch with substance.

I honestly think that if Miguel would've been the one smiling and screaming at Margarito, the popular perception of that fight would've been completely different. It seems that if one fighter lands 43% of his shots while the other one lands 20-something% but smiles like he didn't get hurt every time he gets hit flush, people will think the boxer smiling is winning.

Watch Round 3. Right as Lampley says that Margarito is grinning "like a jack-o-lantern", Margo throws 5 punches. They all land on Miguel's gloves. While this is going on, Miguel hits him flush 4 times. Kellerman, with the memory of the first fight still fresh, proceeds to comment solely on the amount of pressure Margarito's bringing.

Turn off the audio, ignore Margarito grinning every time Miguel crushes his face in and you will see a masterful shutout performance by Cotto and Margarito looking like he's not able to hurt a strawweight.

Neve did I say that it was some great win for Cotto.

What I did say is that if you're going to show a gif of Margarito, why would you pick one where he gets tagged? Him going "whoo" means nothing and it makes you look pretty ******........which actually makes sense.

People here are eidiots...to support Marg in the first place something is wrong wit you: Either you have hate for Puerto Ricans, obviosuly bc of your own insecurity's, or you're a delusional Mexican. LOL, Cotto was never ever hurt in this fight even when Margo landed the same punches that broke himdown the first fight. Strategies were similar - hell, Margs only knows one - come forward, but Lampley noted it and eveyone agreed after round 7 - NOT THE SAME FIGHT, AT ALL. Cotto was hit less and less swollen of course but he stood inside long enough to be broken down and busted up, NEVER HAPPENED.
