all you people complaining about mercer being merciless. what, you think he got that nickname cuz it sounded cute? mercer was doing his job: trying to WIN.

the ref is to blame here. when you wanna stop a fight, you dont pull the attacker off, you get in between the fighters and wrap your arms around the fighter whos being beaten. and the ref was almost like saying "oh come on. thats enough, thats enough. take a nice slow breath and calm down".

boxing is not for the weak hearted, and neither is this KO. stop complaining. morrison is still alive, hes still walking, hes not been damaged by that fight, and hes not complaining, so neither should you.

you wanna blame some1 for this near-death experience? blame the ref.

First, is this how Mercer earned the name "merciless?"

Second, the ref must have been asleep during the fight.

Finally, this fight is a testament to good fighters(Morrison) who come back strong after a devastating losses like this one.
