Lucian Bute vs. Carl Froch: who will win?

The referee didn't really impact the Ward-Kessler fight, anyway. And Ward was beating the **** out of him for 7 rounds before a significant (ie. injurious in any way) and accidental clash of heads occured.

That doesn't mean he was bought off and that means his performance as a ref in that fight is no fault of Ward or his team. Im not saying he didn't do a lousy job, but why hate on Ward unless there is actual proof of a fix?

I reserve my rights to hate on any dirty fighter. Regardless of his name being Ward, Hopkins, Peter or Huck.

Nothing personal. Ward is a gentleman outside the ring and looks like the real deal. I just don't like his style between the ropes.

Then why did Ward resort to doing it?

The first damage to Kessler's eye was from a headbutt early in the fight, in the 2nd or 3rd round. I remember Kessler saying in his corner he couldn't see.

Reiss is crooked not incompetent, he's actually sharp and doesn't miss anything in the ring.

One of the best examples of Reiss being crooked: Ward hits Kessler off the break, and Reiss smirks and give **** to Kessler! Mikkel looked confused about it and Reiss smirks again.

Reiss kept going over to Kessler's corner between rounds and giving Mikkel **** for no reason other than to confuse him.

I think this is a 50/50 fight.

Froch has more determination and the better chin but overall Bute has the better skills, speed, power, etc.

I'm rooting for Froch in this one and i think he stops Bute late.

To my chagrin, I don't have a copy of that fight on the hard-drive - every copy I've ever found has been of poor quality (maybe I missed a HD copy at some point).

Are there any streaming clips with time-stamps you could provide so that I can see the specific incidents you're referring to? I don't recall anything from Kessler's corner that night or any of the official's facial expressions. I only remember that the head clashes seemed largely unintentional to my eye and that significant damage wasn't caused until the 8th, by which time Ward had already established his dominance.

I don't know why but I can never root for Froch. I guess that apart from his heart, his style of fighting and his personality never got to my likings.

I used to hate Bute but I'm feeling more for him after the Johnson win. But if he keeps on fighting in his hometown like Joe Calzaghe, he can **** himself.
