If Ward had the heart of a warrior like Froch, I would give him credit.

But he never takes a fight unless the deck is stacked in his favor. He had an unfair advantage of having all his fight in the Super Six in the USA - and they had a crooked referee Jack Reiss work the Kessler fight.

Ever since I saw that smirk on the face of Jack Reiss when Kessler winced in pain after being hit by the blatently deliberate headbutt that ended the fight, I've hated Andre Ward.

The people who bash Wladimir Klitschko for his late KOs over people who have never been stopped before (Chambers, Thompson, and Chagaev) are the same people who praise and hype Andre Ward, who failed to stop Green (KOed by Johnson) and Miranda (KOed by Bute).

Ward was playing it safe in the late rounds against Froch, knowing he was ahead - a real warrior would have tried for an impressive KO.

It's not only that the HW division sucks, it's that Wlad doesn't display much versatility, change his approach, give you a different look. Yeah he gives you the knocks out, but the jab exhibition will put you to sleep before you can catch it

If he was 'just' lousy he'd have made errors towards both contestants. As it was it was totally biased officiating towards the home fighter. My english is not good enough to know whether 'crooked' is a proper word in this context but it was definetely a skewed performance for some reason.

That doesn't mean he was bought off and that means his performance as a ref in that fight is no fault of Ward or his team. Im not saying he didn't do a lousy job, but why hate on Ward unless there is actual proof of a fix?

Ward just dominated Carl Froch. People's response to his performance - "oh the ref screwed over kessler, he was doing a fabulous job blocking punches with his face prior to the headbutts the ref cheated kessler!!"
