Jean Pascal wanted to fight him and he turned that down.

The bottom line is that whether it was Cloud, Pavlik, Kessler, or Pascal there was always some reason why those fights couldn't be made. While matchups with Jesse Brinkley and Brian Magee could.

I think that fight will be more one-sided than people think.

Bute is fast, and skilled, but he has fought nobody, and has never seen anything like Ward before.

As I stated before the competition, the Super-6 winner will be battle-hardened and ready to go, Bute will not be.

Ward refusing to fight Bute is strange, espacially when he's the best opposition for him. I hope he's not another scary boxer, there is to many boxers refusing tough fights.

Froch is a true warrior just like Johnson is and he's willing to fight Bute.

Personally, i think Bute will do much better against Froch then Ward did.

Ward needs to take a couple of months off before making his next move: he's the champ and there's no dis*****g that. As for he and Bute...it's still a bit too early,,,I think a match b/w Bute and Froch would be a better choice--as both Froch and Bute seems to have some bad blood b/w each other. It also would serve as a good barometer as to what a fight b/w Bute and Ward would look like.
