Bute had fought everyone that wanted to fight him.Pavlik, Kessler had refuse to fight him and now Ward. Ward knows very well that Bute is the next guy to beat but he will avoid him, because to dangerous.Otherwise why would he not fight Bute?

Who is more deserving than Bute? If a 4 year reigning IBF Champion with 9 title defenses isn't "worthy" of Unifying with Ward than no one is.

Bute fought guys he chose and in his own backyard, not knockin the guy but he has nothing on Wards achievements, i hope they fight, it would be good and a fight i would love to see but how anyone can discredit what Ward has done is amazing

Jean Pascal wanted to fight him and he turned that down.

The bottom line is that whether it was Cloud, Pavlik, Kessler, or Pascal there was always some reason why those fights couldn't be made. While matchups with Jesse Brinkley and Brian Magee could.
