Who tha **** was available at 168 for Bute to fight, please enlight me!

Ward fought 4 out of 5 fights in oakland, he didnt have to leave his city.

Ward is the goods, the deserving winner of the Super and the rightfully so #1SMW, but he had his accomodations.

Let's see, who was available....

Bute was in negotiations with Cloud for a catchweight. I thought this was a solid fight. Needless to say, the fight fell through.

Secondly, the same applies for Pavlik. They were in negotiations, but the fight didn't happen because both sides couldn't agree on the financial shares.

I think these would've been solid fights as oppose to fighting Johnson, McGee, and Mendy.

Hell, they could've tried to get someone from 160 to come up or someone from 175 to come down. But instead, they go after Johnson? Come on man.

Point is, Team Bute didn't exhaust all their resources before agreeing to fight Johnson.

More like Pavlik didn't want to take the chance at a free title shot in a main event, and would have rather fought a prospect on an undercard for half of what he would have made for Bute.

His team wasn't going to let him face Cloud that's a high risk low reward fight.
Cloud is tough as nails a true throwback fighter that punishes his opposition before knocking them out. Fighting Cloud could ruin Bute before he gets a chance to cash in.

But if Bute wants my respect and advocate him getting a fight with Ward, these are the types of fights that I was looking for.

Pavlik refused to fight Bute, or are you forgetting that? Kessler was offer 3.5mills and said no thank you and went to fight Stieglitz. How is that Butes fault?

You can try and spin it like you want, the truth is there wasnt anyone worth at the time, and the 2 only decent names, flat out said no.

Cloud can barely make 175, let alone a catchweight lower than that.

I say Bute should fight Froch and Ward should rematch Kessler the winner meeting each others!! and losers can fight each other too!

Word definitely has a point. Bute shouldn't automatically get the gold at the end of the rainbow while the rest of these guys are all doing the hard work. That was a beyotch move by Bute not being in the tournament.

He ducked Bute and he also, cancelled the fight he had before the Bute fight was suppose to happend.

WTF r you on son? Pavlik when full ****** and cancelled a show with a week to go in his hometown and flat out turn Bute down, to comne months later crying and begging Bob to take him back!!
