Make that 500k. I Think it was something close to a 70/30 split in Bute's favour. Jokish offer that tells you that interbox werent ready to send their Golden goose into a live opponent. Bute needs Ward/Froch/Kessler. Not the other way round.

Who told you that? Sauerland ? *rolls eyes* Again, no counter offer= he didn't want the fight regardless.

There's about 45 mn flight time between Montreal and New York. The canadians will come out in droves and there's also a big romanian community in NYC.

It was from an article on boxingscene.

I am not categorically stating that, but you would need to prove otherwise.

Either way, Ward has proven himself by walking the hard road, Bute has not.

Ward is outstanding and clearly the top man in the division, Bute for me is a no mark who has beat nobody of note. It seems to me that he is likely to get a big payday just for not having the balls to enter the super 6. Before the tournament started I thought everyman involved could beat Bute and i still think the same.

If he has no problem fighting in AC then why would he have a problem fighting in NYC?

They were never offered, Hershman stated at the press conference he wasn't invited. They wanted the American vs European angle. Bute was Canadan. Stop trying to pin everything as Bute's fault.
