Too late...as soon as Ward said no, Bute's camp signed up a double-header with Froch - one in Canada and one in England...April and July 2012

Ward should go to Canada to fight Bute where there will be a full arena waiting to see them fight. And i assume more money in fighting in Canada.

here's how it will go down, Butes promoter will give Bute 1.2 mil to fight Ward, and offer Ward 450k. When Ward refuses they will say he just won't fight Bute. This pattern has been followed before (Kessler).

With Ward's win last night Bute is no longer the guy to beat. He will have to negotiate on Ward's terms and Ward is not going to fight him in Canada. So somewhere in America it is.

Bute is a joke i say he looks worse vs ward then Froch did. Bute beat and old aging Johnson hahah and thinks he is better cause he beat johnson worse then froch and now he thinks that makes him the best lol.

I tell you what,,,,if Bute beats Froch convincingly he removes all doubt from me,,,,hell I'll even put him on my top 5 favorite list--b/c the boy can box... This said, a win over a 42yr old Johnson (although impressive, b/c Johnson is a tough SOB) isn't gonna win him any new fans outside Canada. I'd say, Bute needs one or two wins over an elite fighter--i.e., Froch, Kessler, to be a household name; thus, paving the way for a massive showdown with himself and Ward. Fact is, Ward's the champion right now and he became champ by fighting better opposition.
