In what sense other than height is Ward the smallest fighter in the Super 6? He's sturdier than Froch, who is rangier. They weigh about the same as each other.
I hope your not making that argument, that Ward is bigger than Froch. Again, I've always viewed Ward as the smallest guy in the tournament, even considering that AA moved up from 160.
I was expecting a big scene when they presented Ward with the trophy, u know... fireworks, lights, ect.
Jim gray .... "It's been a long way, are you ready for your trophy"
Andre Ward: (gets really excited)
Jim Grey: "Here, congratulations"
and that was it, after all these years...
lol, Really Showtime? I'm sure they can do better than that.
.
That was some amateur looking ****. I thought I was the only one totally disappointed with that. HBO would have done so much better. It would have been as simple as making a highlight reel for the winner.
Agreed and I hope that fight can be made for March or so. But Froch may feel he deserves an easier fight first, unfortunately, and I wouldn't blame him if he did feel that way, but I hope he can be persuaded to take it.
Froch has fought seven tough in a row. At 34, no need to look back now and if he wants to go for a belt, that's the scrap. And what is this abut Ward small? He's six feet tall. AA was the smallest in the field by far. He had him by 4 inches head to head.
