Dont agree about Bute, he has done nothing or beat no one that suggests to me he is better than Froch and as for Ward after that masterclass Bute will be lucky to win a round let alone the fight. When Bute fights someone other than no hopers, has beens or never will be's then maybe i will take him more serious.

He beat Johnson far more easily than Froch did. And most of his other recent opposition was reasonable given that he couldn't fight anyone in the Super 6, and he did enough against them to show he has far more talent than Froch does. Of course styles make fights and you never know, but Bute would be a massive favourite to beat Froch.

While Andre deserved to win, I do not believe he put on the display that many are boasting. He will never be a superstar of the sport in my mind as he is far too constant with the punch and hold tactics. While there is nothing wrong with that, it doesn't exactly make for an exciting fight. Froch was trying his hardest to exchange and keep the fight at relative distance, but Ward was having none of it(and rightly so) but still, I struggled to enjoy this one. Similarly to Holyfield and Hopkins(while greats) ... not really the kinda fighters that excite me. Many would have you believe the inside game would suit Froch more ... **** knows why, the guy has never been great on the inside. The ref was perfectly suited to Andre's tactics in my mind and it was telling. Most US refs would split the fight on a constant basis but this guy was old school(not too dissimilar to british refs).

While Andre has clearly established himself as the best in his division, he certainly isn't the most exciting. If you wish to see perfection, look no further than Floyd Mayweather, a true superstar of the sport.

I had it 7-5 Ward. They split the first four rounds and Froch won the last 3. Ward still grinding with his head and holding to death. Froch should have fought tooth and nail not to get pushed into the ropes. Steve Smoger did a good job of letting them go at it. Bute destroys them both.

LOL at Huggy Bear Ward - watched a special on Antonio Fargas earlier today. Ward bores points out of judges....he will never be a PPV star. I'll be glad when he retires or gets a ref that doesn't let him do arm bars and elbows.

Think Froch is going to join the rest of the brits who lost because I think Ward is going to beat him comfortably.

Ward may not be a heavy hitter with the power but he got skills and can fight.
