People pushing this **** are just desperate. I'm sure Manny said that with the assumption they would be negotiating in good faith. He probably meant that if all his requirements are met and only thing left is money, then he'd be willing to concede a little to help push the fight through. But as far as I'm concerned Mayweather hasn't negotiated in good faith and really concedes nothing. I'm not understanding why anyone would back Floyd on this one.

I was on subject. You're the one that couldn't respond. Do you actually believe it was ever feasible that one side would take less than 50% for this fight? Please answer honestly, sir
sorry i have to disagree my friend !!!!!! first of all the outside venue was brought up yrs ago !!!!!! so when manny said he agreed to talking a smaller purse he was going off the premise that floyd would fight outside at a large venue or perhaps he would agree to fight in dallas !!!!!!! but once manny was blindsided by the whole may 5th thing he had no choice but to demand a 50/50 split !!!!! again like i said no rational person would agree to not only leave 55 mill on the table , and then turn around and take a smaller cut of the pizza !!!!! that would be horrible buisness sense !!!!!!! and as for your point about elerbe saying there are no more issues and everything has been agreed apound , why whould floyd then throw a monkey rench into the nogotiations by asking for a potential 60/50 split !!!! that to me shows hes not serrious about making the fight happen !!!!!! and if i was a floyd fan which i am not ... because im an unbiased boxing fan ...but if i was a floyd fan i would be angry at floyd righ now for what seem like blatant unbridaled ducking !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I diagree. The Stadium has definitely been talked about for years but it was never a sure thing and Pac was definitely going on the premise of a May fight most likely at the MGM grand when he made those statements. Even if he thought about Dallas (which everyone knows Floyd wouldve never fought at), he didnt think that it would bring him that much extra money. No, it was just like he said. He wanted to prove that he wanted the fight bad and would do anything to get it.
Again, he's not wrong for asking for 50/50 and most likely should get it but it was just weird that he said all that in the 1st place. Everyone knew that and you dont do that with a guy like Floyd who is all about money and has a big ego. I dont think Floyd would want 60/40 as you say. I think he would want 55/45 at the most but more probably like 52/48 and would settle for 51/49 or 50.5/49.5 just to say he got the bigger purse.
Still though, if Pac or Arum say NO which you know they will due to Arum & Roach not wanting to give into Floyd and knowing that they would have the backing of the public on this issue, then Floyd has to accept the 50/50 even if Pac did renig
