yea, i mean ppl hate on chavez jr. and rightfully so, but this is a dangerous fight for him. rubio isnt a pushover and he can win this fight. its not a bad fight at all. but jr still ducked martinez.

Does boxingscene not do any fact checking befroe they publish things? Someone had already pointed out that there is a contradicting article published just a few minutes ago. Between this and publishing that garbage that Marley writes I am starting to question the integrity of this site.

Rubio is a better choice when you compare the fight vs Sergio. He has NO chance on that one.

By the way I think this is total BS. There is no upside for Lou to wait for the winner. He can force the Chavez fight now. Why wait another 6 months and what happens if Rubio wins? Martinez can land bigger fights than Rubio if he wants.

He can't force anything. If he tries to force Chavez into the fight, Chavez will just vacate and Martinez will have to fight a no name Rubio for the vacant title.

If Rubio beats Chavez convincingly and becomes champion, Rubio will gain a huge new Mexican fanbase. As sad as it sounds, Rubio would be the third most well known middleweight in America with that Chavez win. Martinez vs Rubio would be a much bigger fight then. And Rubio won't duck Martinez unlike Chavez.

If Chavez beats Rubio, he'll be a more credible opponent for Martinez.

I actually think the deal is pretty good if it happens. It's a great way to build the fight. Martinez beats Macklin in March while looking much better than he did against Barker. And the winner of Chavez vs Rubio fights Martinez next for the WBC belt.

War jr this a great fight has any one seen rubios ko record? Dude can punch he is just not as active as jr. Agaisnt pavlik he was tagging him when he threw but did not throw much. Plus jr will fight some one he doest have a big weight or height advantage but i think he is capable of beating rubio.

If you can stand straight after ploughing regularly through the truckloads of drek constantly unloaded on this site by drugged up cretins, you can stand anything, a few doubts about this site are really nothing by comparison.
