I had Khan winning 114-111 but there was no way whatsoever he was ever going to win an appeal. The fight was way too close, and the deductions were strictly correct.

Why did they even bother appealing? All it was going to do was present Khan as a cry baby and make a rematch more difficult to negotiate. Am I missing something here? Because this doesn't make sense.

Well of course they're going to applaud, it legitimises the robbery, and puts them in a better financial position.

i'm beginning to like peterson, looks like he and his team are hard workers, but very down to earth with their ambitions.
            reminds me of zaveck.
i hope they make the best decision for their next fight. i'm sure khan and bradley will be both interested. khan needs redemption as a gbp cash cow, and bradley would jump to the next level of public recognition by beating a guy khan struggled against and capture 2 major belts.
obv. if peterson beats either guy in a rematch, it would cause major shockwaves in the div.
i think overall a khan rematch would be best for peterson. best payday and he'd have a chance to win again.

Hes offered 1 million? Hes the champ and he should be doing the offering. I would tell Khan he gets 40% or go somewhere else. Let Khan fight Guerrero or Bradley and get a 3rd loss at such a young age.

GBP and Khan embarrassed themselves big time, that was the dumbest thing they could have done.

Peterson is champion and he deserves it.

And I'll add that since Khan tried to be such a ***** and get the decision overturned, Lamont should fight somebody else and Make Khan, who was so eager to get his titles back in a disgraceful way, wait.

This is all posturing is TR really going to dish out a mill to Peterson to fight timmy so aside from a discreet title defense to make some side cash and then a rematch
Going straight into a rematch is at aleast financially his best option unless he feels unsure of winning the rematch which would leave him in that high risk catergory where it would be hard to land other big fights.
Peterson should insist on only defending WBA belt and hold onto the IBF just in case...

They can offer him whatever he likes, Khan is not going to get a rematch anytime soon.

is that even possible? i'm sure they would have stripped him if he decided to do that. a champ has to be active look how they stripped bradley.
