Religion isn't this holy unquestionable subject that's beyond criticism like everything else so everyone needs to calm the **** down. And according to "Christianity" aren't we all children of God? So Son Of God is acceptable, since its true to his religion...I don't wanna insult anyone's beliefs or religions, God or something like it might exist but "religion"....these are books written by men pretending to speak through God, so no I have no respect for religion and it should be criticized like anything else, even more so cuz its a load of bull**** and its forced down our threats and tries to dictate how we live our lives. Ur religion's no more special than anything else

He is of the belief that all human beings - whatever their religion - are the children of God. In other words, they are his servents. Lamb to the shepherd. It's just a nick name. It's no more ridiculous than others that fly around. At least it bears some relevance to the fighter and his character. It's fitting for him. He's an exceptional fighter and appears to be a good rolemodel for every one. A religious person - whatever his faith is - would agree that he's doing God's work pretty well.

It's mostly over-sensitive people who fly into a hissy fit whenever a person displays his/her beliefs. They get so easily offended at that, yet they expect religious people to remain silent and not retort when their beliefs are mocked.

I have always taken the phrase of "Gods Son " to mean, "I recognize that we are all children of god but I personally will try my best to be worthy of that particular title". But I can also understand why some people might be pissed. Selflessness and egocentrism have always been a dichotomy where religions concerned.
