Right, who did Kessler fight and/or beat and when leading up to Calzaghe?

Kessler was a fellow champ who had beaten top contenders in the division. Felix Trinidad hadn't beaten a single contender in the division when he fought Winky. NOT ONE.

Well, Joppy was a champ when they fought at '60.... not a contender. Anyway, I'm still waiting for that list of outstanding European competition that Kessler became great against....

Funny to see the americans biased like always. Joe calzaghe all the way, its an insult to compare him with Winky.

Kessler was a fellow champ in a weak division..

The guys that beat Tito were better than anybody on Kessler's resume....Calzhage included.

That was four years before, get a grip. You're proving my point: More important than who is when. You gonna give Joe credit for beating Roy? Hey, Roy had beaten a bunch of LHW contenders!

That's hindsight though. Everyone didn't know if he'd fare well against Wright at '60. Where's that list of European fighters?
