Vitali "QUIT". Now you got it right. Remember, he announced his retirement only when he was on the verge of being stripped for not defending his title.Comment

If you watch the fight, Rahman chases him across the ring with the jab and drops Lewis in the corner. hardly lucky when you're in control. a lucky punch is McCall dropping Lewis or Maskaev KOing Rahman.
plus the round before Rahman hurts Lewis with a right hand. don't be ignorant.Comment

He started out moving backwards and landing the right cross to the body.....Which I think was his best and most underrated punch. Even better than his overhand right:
And then started moving Straight back trying to avoid bombs McCall was throwing.
Almost an identical scenario when he lost to Rahman in their first fight.
Two totally different scenarios.Comment

WHy is your hobby to come on a boxing site and continually illustrate that you have no idea what you're talking about?
McCall KO'd Lewis with a Right hand straigh down the pipe.
There was no left hook.

The McCall and Rahman KO's of Lewis had something VERY similar. Both victors were facing the bored, uninterested, lethargic version of Lewis that made many boxing fans hate the guy, justifiably.
Vitali faced the same version of Lewis and Ko'd him also, thus ushering in the New Vitali Heavyweight Era. Oops, no he didn't. He was competitive, but he wasn't able to dispose of Lewis like either McCall or Rahman.Comment

None of the other title holders means **** to Vitali, he would bich slap them into brain damage while scratching his ass - and everybody knows this!
And why are you still right when you say Vitali is scared....?
Because the man knows the score
Hes seen the new breed of Eastern European white boxers out there. That new generation is not something you would wanna stay in the way of.
Nicolai Valuev is just the first line, and keeping in mind the political irregularities between great mother Russia and that ****** prostetute Ukraine - it would not be becoming for vitali, whos set himself up to be a political symbol, to be beaten to a pulp in the hands of Valuev!
So Vitali quit at the top. Like the alpha male of a wolf pack who instinctivly knows when his era is over..
the future is brutal and beutyful
but ur points are just flat out ******.
legit competition? sanders a part time golfer and a one hit wonder danny williams?
rahman beaten from pole to pole, that i agree with.
i wont even get started on that bum valuev.
