Same way I feel about this. I'll believe it when JCCJr. actually steps into the ring with Maravilla.

In a beautiful world chavez gets strip of his title, fights rubio in feb, martinez fights in march, then the winners fight for the title in july. Canelo fights kirkland, winner fights cotto.

It's really hard to say what's going to happen since I don't see Chavez Jr taking that fight with Martinez. Even though Martinez wasn't impressive against Barker, he did gave a better fight that most guys here tend to say, especially because Barker was also a tall guy such as Chavez Jr but had a very close guard that was hard for Martinez. However, Chavez Jr doesn't has a good defense and is a lot more hittable than Barker.
Another thing is this so called "reflexes" issues with Martinez. I actually think Martinez still has great reflexes and the main problem against a guy like Barker who closes up like that is that as a boxer he even had to risk more to make him open up, and that's the reason he received some hard shots. Just see Pacquiao vs Clottey and you'll notice that Pacquiao was taking more risks and that's why he also received some powerful punches from Clottey.

Roach and company would look really bad if they turn down the mandatory after all the BS they said about Martinez sucking ass as a boxer and only being a good athlete.

The thing is that they don't care about that, Freddy has said a lot of crap about disliking catchweights and stuff and it doesn't matter, they just care about the money, and if avoiding Martinez is going to give them more money on the long road then they're going to to it.
