Thats all good WBC but who is paying for it? It was a crap fight money wise the first time. Who is putting up the money for this one.

I dont see this fight happening at all. This fight only made sense for hardcore fans, no one else cares. I dont see chad and defintely not hopkins taking espn money for this fight. Hopkins will probably vacate cause he has the ring belt. WBC or not he is still the champ and the only name fighter in the division.

I agree about the money, I'm not positive hbo will pay for it but who knows.

Yhis s, more or less, what I expected, being the logical progression from the mandated originnl fight, to an NC, to a replay of the original fight, to arrive at whatever conclusion the first fight was to have had.

Both guys already received their paychecks for a fight that didn't even occur. Their purses for the rematch should be halved at the very least.

Hopkins has no case at all for demanding another million dollar purse. If he had just the slightest ounce of integrity, he'd make the rematch for a smaller cut, either that or just go away and hang 'em up.
