The referee did his job just fine - He warned Khan to stop pushing, Khan should have learnt after the first point deduction. He continued pushing because he thought he could get away with it... Pushing is not allowed, it puts the other fighter at a big disadvantage. Great job from the referee!!

Froch is a stand up guy although I will be pulling for the American fighter, I won't be terribly upset if Froch won. May the best man win.

            Referee was very poor!

I couldn't care less whether Khan wins or loses, however the referee was terrible on Saturday. In that ring there was a boxer (Khan) and a brawler (Peterson). Every time there was a clinch, the referee didn't split the fighters. He let Peterson do the roughing up and lead with his head. Khan had to push him away. Peterson was only warned once for leading with his head, which was right at the start of the final round, when he'd being doing it since round 3!

Cast your minds back to the Hatton vs Mayweather fight, Hatton tried doing exactly what Peterson did but the ref that night (Cortez) didn't let him for a second! Ok, Cortez was probably a bit over the top with his constant interfering and saw more action than the 2 fighters that night, but he was splitting the fighters up when they were tangled up, Cooper didn't do it once in the entire fight! Why?

In my opinion Khan was punished for his pushing as a direct result of the referee not being strong enough, or him being deliberately one sided to Peterson's advantage.

Fights need fair refereeing or else there is no point in having the fight at all. Nobody can say that the referee was fair in this fight. Peterson put on a good show and the fight was close. It's becoming a problem in boxing more and more, corrupt officials a ruining the sport. Just look at the end of the fight again. 10 minutes to get the scorecards and when they appear one of them had been altered. Now that Khan has appealed the scorecards have miraculously been lost!!!

Something is rotten in Washington, and it ain't *****'s socks!!!

I wonder how much Froch will like Smoger, when he loses the fight.

Self-loathing is an English pass time. Our commentators love to slam the English fighter.

Lets not forget than Froch is under Eddie Hearn who is also not a fan of Amir Khan.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions but the irony about Froch's comments are that the same referee he is praising stated that he thought Khan was hard done by with the points deduction for the pushing.
I thought the fight was a lot closer the first time I watched it.

The second time it looked to me that Lamont blocked most of Khan's shots and controlled the fight when Khan wasn't cheating. It seems to me Lamont landed the only shots that matter. I think La mont did as well or better than Marquez did against Pac.

That being said I also think Lamont will beat Khan more convincingly in the next bout.

Whoever u r, 2 point deduction in a world title fight 4 pushing is very harsh. Even the USA pundits on hbo called it 'home cooking'.
Nationality doesn't mean **** when it comes to the HBO pundits. It's about who makes them money. ''**** **** ****.. try and stop it'' ( When Clottey was blocking the punches) ''**** **** ****''.

British feed put the blame on Khan for the point deduction. He had one point deducted, was warned several times, what do you expect the ref to do?

I think honest Carl hay have just gotten a few more fans. I thought the ref was on Kahn a bit, but i did hear several warnings to Kahn and he contunued to do it so he had to take action. I thought we were all treated to a good fight and the only bummer was the fact that we had to see david haye for a few min
