Kessler & Froch was a great fight that could of gone either way.
Taylor is a great fighter that was edging a close fight between the two before getting stopped.

There is no shame in losing or having a close fight with any of those guys, two of which Froch won (I thought he edged Kessler as well) two of the three was F.O.T.Y candidates.

Froch don't box enough, believe me when he opts to box, he's got tools. Don't sleep on The cobra's boxing ability.
great post mate, a honest ppraisal of froch.

I had froch winning kessler, but glad he lost. best thing that could have happened to him.

Also usually having a GF ab=nd a kid tames boxers, but in frochs case, he needed to be tamed. He finally realises that the best chin is a chin that doesnt get hit.

I think most people consider Ward better than Dirrell and Dirrell basically showed that a slick fighter is just going to make Froch look ******. Dirrell schooled him something bad, so Ward should be able to do the same. But you never know. Ward isn't especially SLICK, but he has great boxing ability.

Great point!! Everyone was stating Froch will get blown away by AA. Froch put such a boxing display and it really opened my eyes to just what a good boxer froch is when he gets behind the jab and using his natural tools.

It will be a very hard fight for both and I admire Wards boxing skills and he seems like a really nice bloke. I just fancy the cobra to pull off an amazing display and beat him. WAR FROCH!!!!!

Froch will box and look to catch Ward coming in. Easier said than done and it's why this fight is going to be just special. Two hungry, determined fighters. I'm psyched.

dirrell schooled froch so bad he ended up losing the fight, losing the press row scores, every top pundit including allan greem dan rafael, jimmy iowa, graham houston, and manny steward all thinking froch won, even american youtube pundit bigrague scored it to froch over dirrell.

Even the boxrec punch stats scored it to froch...

and froch was unmarked and dirrell had a bloodied mouth and nose, yea really schooled froch...

Froch is extremely under rated. He is used to it, so I don't think people writing him off yet again will bother him, infact it'll hopefully inspire him to another win in America.

He has an extremely strong chin, so I will go as far as saying Ward will not manage to stop him on the 17th. If it goes to the cards, Froch has to clearly win every round because no doubt the decision will favour the home town boy. Froch has excellent stamina, look at the Taylor fight, he comes alive in the latter rounds. Froch will stop Ward in the 10th. (Fingers crossed)

Here is to a cracking fight this Saturday, the one I have been waiting for, Froch, Nottinghams own, will prove to all his doubters and those who under estimate him that he is the best super middleweight in the World.

I simply can't see it. A chin as tough has granite has Froch.

Maybe you'll view me as bias understandably, but I really can't see Froch being stopped.

I know ward doesnt hit hard. But the hardest and most dangerous punches are the ones you dont see. If Froch doesnt be carefull and comes in with reckless abaddon then I can see ward using his accuracy and speed to catch froch clean and unaware thus knocking him over and hurting him.

Froch is going to put it on this guy

If Timothy Bradley redux is allowed to use his head as a battering ram, then he may have a chance, if not, I think the Cobra will TKO him in 11
