Backfire on Peterson? That's funny. Everything has backfired on Khan. Peterson is on top of the world and holds all the cards.

Anyone who thinks Arum won't pay Peterson as much to fight Bradley as he would make fighting Khan is nuts. Arum will put the fight on a PPV undercard and give both guys more money than they would make against Khan.

People need to realize that the paydays that HBO has been giving Khan have been "investments" and not something that Khan has earned by being wildly popular. They overpaid him so they could sign him because they saw a potential star. The hope was that down the road Khan would be a p4p star and help HBO and GBP recoup their losses on his early fights. Now the investment has **** the bed and he isn't worth anywhere near the purses that have been offered.

I don't think Team Khan even cares about the titles for any reason other than the ability they give them to lowball potential opposition to avoid fights.

Team Khan and his fans are so ****** when it comes to saying things like "he gave Peterson a chance so Peterson should return the favor."

Really? He gave him a chance huh? Peterson was the mandatory challenger, he earned the fight, nobody did him any favors.

In fact if you look at Khan's history the only time he has faced a tough opponent (Maidana and Peterson) was when it was his mandatory and he had no choice. You give Khan a choice of his opponent and he chooses the easiest path every single time.

It's also worth noting that with both Peterson and Maidana Team Khan gave them both insulting lowball offers before they became mandatory. Was nothing but a ploy to duck the fights.

It's amazing that anyone has the nerve to act like anyone owes Amir Khan anything. Khan has taken and taken from the sport, lined his pockets with easy fights, and disrespected champions and challengers. He refused to give the fans a rematch of a FOTY candidate where the ref teamed up with him to screw the opponent, now he wants people to feel sorry for him now that's he's on the other side of it?

**** off Amir Khan. I hope you never get the rematch. Move up to 147 and fight one of the Euro Bum alphabet title holders. You don't want to get in the ring with real champions anyway.

That's right, get the best deal possible now that you are in the driver's seat.

Los Angeles is where De La Hoya and Golden Boy have tremendous
influence and the fix will most likely be in. Peterson should tell Golden Boy that Khan can have an immediate rematch but it has to take place in D.C or somewhere on the east coast like Atlantic City or MSG

Word I don't trust GBP at all not to have the fix in.
Do it in MSG since AK supposedly has fans there so he can't complain too much.

The bottom line..... Peterson holds 2 titles, is not subject to rematch options, is a free-agent..... and will land a 7-figure payday the next time he climbs into the ring.

Nice to see guys like Peterson and Ortiz work their way up from the streets to earn million dollar paydays. Lamont fought the perfect fight to earn a deserved win over Khan and he has every right to negotiate for a greater payday in the rematch. Hopefully his brother will rebound from the Rios loss.

Khan should give him a week to decide and then withdraw the offer.

Peterson aint getting near 7 figures fighting anyone else.

Khan on the other hand will fight for a world title in his next fight with or without Peterson.
