EXACTLY and why is Hopkins screaming out Bute's name when Bute one doesn't fight Lt Heavy. Hopkins lost me as a fan and I've flown to see him fight. I look for consistency in individuals and from Robert Allen I, Roy Jones II, Joe Calazaghe fight and now this one. I see a TON of consistency alright.

Btw, to all those that actually believe Hopkins, I'll pose a question for you. Why did he get up ready and willing to KICK Antwun Echols arse when he was dropped more ferociously there than when Chad did this where he didn't attempt to fight?? Explain that Hopkins defense counsel.

Hopkins should only be looking to fight and settle it with Chad Dawson PERIOD!!!

Nope, it was scheduled for December 13 all along. The Ring and WBC both made statements on the subject, but everyone else awaited today's official hearing.

Please. Bhop's work ethic and discipline would have put him at the elite level of whatever he decided to focus his energy on. I don't care if it's boxing, basketball, ping-pong or checkers, Hopkins is a rare bird who was destined to excel in whatever he tried. Every time I read an article about some MMA fight, the writer is calling some 7-4 "World Champion" a legend. Every goddamn MMA fighter gets called a legend and their careers are a whole 17 months long. Hopkins has been competing at the elite level of a much deeper sport than MMA for decades. That is a legend.

Seems like Bernard has a ton of power with the higher ups. Good for him I suppose. Still, it irritates me that blatant robberies like Lara Williams and Alexander Matthysse remain undealt with. Those fighters have losses on their records that they shouldn't have either.

wrong it was ruled an NC only by the belt organization in terms of the belts and such but by the actual boxing commission the official RECORD still stated Dawson by TKO. THis now changes Hopkins OFFICIAL RECORD to an NC
