I know this gym this is Maywood I got there a ton and they use the Ringside bell which has that 30 sec warning bell then the final. If you look close enough you can see Freddy Hernandez get in the ring once the **** goes down lol

now look at the time that the first bell happens (about 33 seconds into the video) then at 1:04 another bell sounds. At Maywood they have one timer that's it so Ponce was still swinging because that was the 30 sec timer. Hoskins must have thought time was up and stopped punching

At my gym we do full minutes with some guy calling out the 10sec mark(manual buzz). So they get used to it and know how much time they got to do what they can do in those 10sec. It just sounded odd hearing 30sec callouts. We had a different timer too, which was 30sec, a long time ago when i was a kid, but a lot of the trainers saw their fighters coasting too much towards the end, so they switch. old clock from 93 and doesn't miss a beat.

No, it was the final bell. The 30 second bell sounds at the very start of the video. The 'cheap shot' happens shortly after the final bell at the 30 second mark of the video.

The shot was landed after the final bell.
