that might have been the 30 seconds left buzzer not the end of the round.. in gyms it goes green, yellow, and then red

if that was the bell to signal the end of the round, then he's a jackass...you don't hire sparring partners to go soft on you, if indeed he was upset, cause he was getting some good work.
