Las Vegas, Mandalay Bay - Mexican rivals Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, both undefeated and reigning WBC champions, went face to face at the WBC's annual convention at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The two fighters ran into each other at Monday's big WBC dinner and the two of them exchanged pleasent words and posed for pictures.

I think too much is being made of the weight issues. Canelo is a big Jr Midd. I think he could make 160 and be fine, where as jr coming down to 154 would put him at too much of a disadvantage.
