You idiots will only learn when there is an experienced ref between these two and you see a fairly one sided victory. You have to work with the two styles of the fighters, all top referees in any sport do their homework on the participants before the contest, so they know their habits, and what they like to do and what strategy they might try and implement to win a particular fight, this is vital to know to control a fight and also to make sure the fight is fair and aesthetically pleasing for the fans. You don't just go into a contest blind and force the letter of the law to a tee, like you guys are making out. I see a travel pretty much every 5 minutes in the NBA, but everyone knows you can bend that particular rule, one example.
Either way I am bored of repeating myself on this subject I have done it too many times over the past few days, everyone should just get over it now, it has happened hopefully they have a rematch with a proper ref and we can get a definitive result.

The Referee was doing his job, but didn't know how to control Khan from pushing. Either way, Khan can't fight inside to save his life and He should have more defensive skills than his offense.
Marquez would kill this guy.

the night the fight happened, i thought khan got jipped by getting a second point taken away, but fffuuccckkk he pushed a lot. i saw him constantly put peterson in a headlock but wow. good proper call by the ref and good win for peterson, hopefully he's a bit more dominant in the rematch.

You *****es are trying to justify his point deductions, like I said revert to my first post. If you aren't going to break the fighters up, if you are going let them get on with it, that applies to both fighters. The ref completely took Khans real estate by not breaking them up, and then warning him for pushing off and trying to make space for himself. I can name so many examples of boxers down the years who would have been handicapped by this type of refereeing. Could khan have been more subtle with it...absolutely, but everyone that has been anywhere near a boxing ring knows you don't get points taken for that, certainly not ****ing 2. Ridiculous

Talking about refs looking at past footage to see what a fighter likes to do?
Khan likes to push off illegally.
That means the ref needs to lick his nuts and let him do its because its his favourite thing to do to make up for the fact that he cant fight inside?
If anything, it shows that referees up until this point have been ALLOWING Khan to better hide the fact that he cant fight inside by ALLOWING his ILLEGAL pushing.
Turning off of the ropes is a recognised ability/strategy for a reason. Even Khan was doing it.
You dont use illegal moves to make up for your deficiencies and its not something people should encourage either.
We should be encouraging Khan to go back to the gym and learn how to fight inside, not be upset that the ref didn't allow him to foul to make up for his lack of inside ability.
Get the hell outta here /italian accent

Mayweather pushes opponents off with his elbow all the time and gets away with it. Cotto was given praise for the way he pushed Margarito last weekend. The level of consistency in refereeing is poor overall.

Khan always got special treatment and thought he was entitled again. He constantly was complaining to the ref instead of taking the fight in his own hands. Khan's fault he lost that fight like Dirrell lost his to Froch
