Mayweather often talks utter **** when promoting himself......

But he is right on one thing.

Folks are always talking up someone to beat him.

Everyone said that Pacquiao would beat Floyd, some said easily, others even used the term "KTFO"..... then after what most viewed as a loss to Marquez, very few scribes think that Pac could live with Mayweather.

Along come Khan, and some said that his style is perfect for Mayweather and that Amir will give him all sorts of problems, which was a baffling situation because nobody outboxes Mayweather...... now all of a sudden Khan aint on Mayweathers level?

The knee-jerk reactions, prove that people were over-rating Khan, just like they did with Pacquiao.

A week ago they were saying that he could beat Mayweather..... now he "is young and has room to improve"?

          Khan is not being " written-off ".

He is being lambasted for failing to live up to his own hype.

He will be back, and will likely beat Peterson if he can land a rematch.

Team Khan over-rated Amir that much they didnt even include a rematch clause in the contract

How ******, this comment is .. Peterson was finding easy access to Kahn's head and body .. Kahn on the other hand and to revert back to amateur style fighting to build points, and he has no inside game so he resorted to pushing to escape and make room to punch.
Warren is correct Kahn has no defense and often times was turning his back to escape from being hit.

All n all , Kahn only skill set is fast hands and volume punches, this will only server to get his headed handed too him and his ego deflated .. If he fights floyd with these limitation he going to get the **** beat out of him.

              Well said.......

I totally agree with your post. I said the same thing when everyone was bashing Manny for not dominating MARQUEZ. KHAN won that fight in the 11th and 12th rounds. If you watch it again, pay close attention to how KHAN did it. He knew the fight was close and landed flush punches in those rounds and even rocked PETERSON in the process. The referee did a terrible and inexcusible job. Taking away 2 points for instinctively pushing your opponent? In a close fight like that, you don't take away a point unless a real foul occurs. Do you agree? KHAN is young but here's what he needs to do to become an elite fighter. FIRE ROACH. HIRE COTTO'S trainer, STEWARD, or FLOYD Sr. to work on his defense and learn how to punch with emphasis. He throws too many meaningless punches He needs to learn how to not expend so much energy moving and fight with lateral movement. Turning his opponent and making him pay for coming forward is just as effective as sprinting around the ring. And last but not least, he needs to stop talking for a while. Just become silent and work on his game. If he does these things, he can become an elite fighter. Anything less, he'll just be another name.

what about that phantom knock down gift that was given to khan in the first round?
