That's Roy's normal voice he speaks like this when he relaxed around his family and friends. While on TV and On Radio Roy will slow his voice down and try to be more clear with his words. Even then sometimes his old down south accent will sneak out at times.Comment

From what I heard he is not dead broke but he made some bad investments with that Record Label BodyHead Entertainment ended up having to pay the distributor. He also owed some money to the IRS like most boxers do. He no longer making 5 million a fight like he was back when he was on HBO in the early 2k.
Boxing scene had an article about how much he owed the IRS do a search.Comment

Why the fuck do you need some obscure post-fight video to determine his speech pattern? Isn't he a commentator on HBO and talks in front of a big audience? Seemed to be doing fine in his last HBO appearance and I can post videos from 1997 where he talks the same damn way.
