I think James Kirkland is in with a shout in my book anyway.

He got stopped by a pillow fisted Ishida and then makes a fast trail to Angulo knocking everyone out on the way including Angulo. 6 fights in 2011 and already one lined up for Jan 2012.

Froch / Ward will probably get it and no complaints from me

i think Hopkins should get it (it's tough to make history these days due to overall competition) but the Dawson fight left a lot of bad aftertaste in people's mouths. If not Hopkins then the Super Six winner.

Vilora, wins over Miranda and Segura do it for me(though Arce and Tyson Marquez are very good shouts). Hopefully we don't get some agenda driven move to crown a P4P top 10 guy as they simply haven't been good enough this year.

there can be no doubt that pacquiao is the fighter of the year.

brian viloria, won a title at flw and defended it as a big underdog vs his mandatory who was in the top 10 p4p list.
