    Good read.

A part of me is happy that Amir didn't get the decision. I hope Freddie and Amir go back to the drawing board and sort the lack of inside-fighting out. Freddie should learn Amir how to stand ground and hold the position in the centre of the ring.

Khan is virtually defenseless when he's on the ropes. He shouldn't be more than 3 seconds in there. If you don't have the iron body and chin you should try to escape as quickly as you can. No use in showing you can take punches.

this loss will not make Khan a better fighter, this is the blue print for beating Khan, infact it was Maidana that showed us if you walk Khan down and get inside he buckles, But Peterson just did it early enough, i think Khan aint gona be able to learn to fight inside and most of the top guys can go inside and Khan just can not deal with it, ppl think Khan is gona walk a rematch but its going to play out like this only this time its straight to plan B for Lamont and i see Khan getting stopped as his ****** bravado will only get worse as he tries to make the point over and over again that he now has a chin, if he dose win the rematch he is going to have to fight to Bradley who judging by this will make light work of Khan, forget Floyd thats a fight he just aint winning.

          Finally!!!

I have never rated Amir Khan. I've not properly been able to explain why to people other than the fact I think he is over rated and over confident. What Peterson did was show that, like Pacquiao, there is not much beneath the shiny surface.
I'm sick of hearing that khan had proved he has a solid chin, he has fought 2 punchers in his whole career- Prescott & Maidana. I will give him credit for getting through the Maidana onslaught but I also think he was lucky the ref didnt step as he out of it for a good few seconds. If Khan moves up to welterweight and let's someone like Victor Ortiz hit him like Peterson did he will be out cold.
His lack of grace after the fight is just another mark of a ****y little tosser

I'm curious to see where will the rematch take place. There is no way Khan's camp is going to agree for Washington again.

Pressure fights do well against Khan, and they do well against Floyd as well. Just that Khan is not in his own country, whereas Floyd usually is, ie against pressure fight Castillo.

Thats why khan would do well against Floyd, Floyd is no pressure fighter. Same reason floyd would of have even more trouble against Castillo in Mexico. So dont find it suprising Khan lost.
              So would Floyd.

your right wazaa if freddie helps Khan develop an inside game he will be a very complete package i mean to me it seemed like amir was struggling with the constant pressure which lamont was bringing his answer was to backpedal , run and or to push his head down or the fatal push to the chest i think the 12th round should NOT of been a deduction he ruined a tremendous fight that referee !!!

When you push-off you have the advantage to get shots in while the opponent is trying to gain his balance. That's why push-offs are ILLEGAL in boxing. Then Khan runs like the wind when ever he's challenged to fight.

Not my idea of a Champion or future great ...

Sure Khan has talent, but the skill of running around the ring at top speeds isn't boxing and NEVER was.
dude petersons gameplan was to lead with his head - watch round 11. Come close - duck - come closer - stand up. what do u expect khan to do? either push him away, or wrap his arm around pete's head. PETERSON WAS DOING THIS ON PURPOSE what if he connected with a head butt? then what would all of you be saying then?

Regardless EVEN WITH THE DEDUCTIONS tell me which of the last 4 rounds did peterson win???? i could make a case for round 9 for peterson, but round 10,11,12?? HOW???

home cookin. disgraceful refereeing and judging i had a score of 114-111 for khan even with all the bs. I think rounds 1 to 8 were pretty straight forward scoring wise, i had the same score as ledderman and one judge.

I don't have any fiaith in Roach's ability to teach Khan to fight on the inside. Roach has got Parkinsons because his D was ****. Manny is not great on the inside he is a mid range fighter. If he has been with Roach for years and lacking on the inside that does not give me confidence in Roach's ability to teach in fighting. Khan needs to get some inside technique but I don't think this is going to be an easy fix, the smart move would be to let James Toney and Hopkins show him tricks. I hope Hopkins steps in. He has plans of being a coach and is the one person I feel that can turn round Khan's glaring weaknesses.Otherwise I don't think Khan will cut it with Rios,Ortiz and Bradley or Peterson in a rematch.
