It is true that most refs stop for a firm warning. Warning during a fight isn't rather than stopping it is dodgy. Lamont was warned for a low head yet never got a deduction and still continued.

The ref didn't take anything, Khan did it to himself.
If he worked on fighting in the pocket, instead of the 2011 moonwalk, he wouldn't have to worry about pushing.

When is HBO going to get rid of Lederman?
Has he ever scored a fight well? I mean ever?
When was the last time he said something intelligent?
Plus his voice is annoying.

the more i look at this fight, the more making Lamont a "champion" is a joke
sorry, he deserves credit for showing up, but he's no champion
the people here are at NSB are simply Khan haters. I dont like Khan myself, but he didnt deserve to be stripped of two belts when he won the majority of the rounds and won the championship rounds
It doesnt matter, because Khan will win the rematch easily. Lamont should enjoy this while it lasts.

Khan should have taken it like a man, not like a bad loser that he is, neither I thought did enough to win, I think a draw would have been a fair result, I think Peterson didn't do enough to become champion, I would like there to be a reform in boxing where titles cannot change hands for split decisions like this.

Even with the deductions, one of which was def questionable- Khan won 114-111 on my card.
It is a shame that every time you come into the forum to discuss a boxing match, it is pointless because it has just become a 24/7 flame war battleground.
