Cong**** to Peterson and what a fight by both!

I am a big Amir fan, and even though he lost, he never stopped trying. I respect him as a boxer, no matter what people say about him running, he has achieved more than 99% on here in boxing.

His style is sloppy at times, but fan friendly. He always gives it 100% and it was exciting.

As for Peterson, he made me a fan even more. I made a thread that physically he is a beast. I knew he would bring it, and with the added factor of being in his city, the fans helped him. His trainer kept saying this is DC and it looked like it helped motivate him. His story is brilliant, and his character is true to a good man it seems. Being homeless and how proud he was of DC was great.

I knew that he had more experience and was a bette fighter than he ever was. I had a feeling he could unsettle Khan and he did.

Well done to him, he is great for the sport.

One important thing I will say is a ref, and the crowd can definitely influence a fight. I believe Khan jut won rounds 10 and I think 11th. He didn't get by as much in those rounds bar maybe a little occasion he guarded up and stood there. The 2nd deduction was harsh imo, particularly if he warned Peterson to keep his head up quite a few times too.
However it was a close fight and it is what it is.

Contests to Peterson on a great fight, and Khan too.

In a rematch I can see Peterson working Khans body once again. He is very strong.

I can see Khan winning if the ref doesn't like holding and hugging.

What Khan must do is not guard up and stand there. That is very ******. This is a bad habit Manny has adopted too.

Second thing is why the he'll does he shake his head while getting bit with combo's. You can do it after sure, but it's dumb to do it during. Usually it is used to taunt a fighter if they miss or don't hurt, but khan did it when Peterson was busy hitting him lol.

In many ways I am glad Khan lost. It will make him hungry.

I recall being a fan pre Prescott and he was talking big on Katsidis, Cassa and Juan Diaz. Then ****!

Khan is someone who learns through loses for sure, but also he needs to not look forward. I heard too much talk on Bradley, Brook, and Mayweather. The mofo needs to concentrate on one fight at a time.
