That was the first and hopefully last time I'd see that ref in a title fight. Props to Lamont he fought out of his skin my complaints are only in regards to the ref, great fight hope it happens again asap.

Even with the point deductions I had khan winning. Lamont tired and rounds 9,10,11 and 12 were all khan rounds. Can someone please explain how they gave those rounds to lamont?

Ref was terrible never seen him before and hope to never see him again.

i don't get this at all- in what way was the referee terrible?
khan was holding/pushing/pulling down/refusing to break at every opportunity. the referee correctly warned him repeatedly- in fact i thought he was letting him get away with it for far too long- and then ended up taking a point.
when khan arrogantly still didn't get the message and kept on, before finally being forced to break by the referee and then hitting peterson whilst the referee was between them, well another point is fair enough.

i was just glad to see that although khan believed he was acting with total impunity, that he was dealt with fairly by having points taking away at appropriate moments in the fight.

i doubt khan would have gotten through the fight if he hadn't spoiled so much, but that's another theme.

Did you not see lamont going in with his head as well? Did you not see Lamont pushing his left forearm in khans face and hitting him with the right at the same time? Why was he not even warned once for that? Also shouting in khans ear during the fight is not a warning the action should be stopped and the ref should then give kha his final warning.

Peterson won fairly.

Khan is doing his reputation of being arrogant no favours with his complaining and crying after the fight; he fouled constantly, was warned several times and in turn was deducted points as he never stopped the pushing down and shoving.

Hunter should have just took the points for headlocking then nobody would have had any complaints.
