I guessed the sarcasm but decided to give my own opinion anyway. America is considered to be the media playground, especially for boxing, so to go over there would be no harm....

But about "prooving yourself", i know you were being sarcastic when you said this, but i also dont think they need to prove themselves. They simply need to expose themselves.

Yes, it is a shame but the US is generally where all the networks and stuff is. Maybe it shouldn't be that way, and I know a lot of UK posters would disagree, but there you go. There is some arrogance on behalf of US posters though who assume "I haven't seen a fighter on my TV = he's crap".

The only exception to this rule off the top of my head I'd say is Hatton, who is a major sell-out at home, so I can see why he'd stay over here and not go over to the US to fight someone like Mayweather who can only do PPV when he's against a Gatti.

So you are from the UK but are currently in America?

He probably crossed the road to get away from the American...because he read his history books and remembered what happened the first time when he tried to mess with an American.

Do top American fighters own passports?
Because none seem to use them.

Quite honestly, England has been coming up with some very good prospects in the recent years past aswell as the present. They have been improving their track record with the states latley. But still I gotta say USA, USA,USA!
