Well at 25 he is eager to take the best fighters in the world. He has the cojones to fight in America and skill wise he is head above Ricky. Five more years in the sport and he might end with a better resume and career than Hatton.

Touché my friend, completely correct hatton steps up in class and gets KO'd he even admitted he would've lost to tszyu if tszyu wasn't at the end of his career! He avoided cotto, citron, margarito, holt, Torres ....... Want more names? Wittier, Judah ....... Want more let me know
Please stop getting emotionally involved with Ricky, I know he's a class act and a great fighter especially by British standards but it doesn't mean that when another different colour skin Brit fighter gets robbed you try and prove your point. You forget Ricky almost lost to the pea shooter Luis collazo and he admitted the knockdown was the decider.

If he can't beat guy like Peterson he won't be in the sport in 5 years (not at world level anyway).

A prime Hatton is a bad style for Khan at this point in his career.

Full respect to Peterson though, a great fight and a fair outcome.

As of right now It's Hatton, of course.

But, Khan has just turned 25, he still has many years left and he isn't that far behind him at this point.

I will say though that Hatton would never have lost to fighters like Bredis Prescott or Lamont Peterson.

if khan lost this fight, hatton could have easily lost against collazo.

one weak showing does not a career make.

Right now hatton has the better career, and maybe he is better. But i would bet that Khan will pick himself up and go on to have a very good career.

People need to stop trashing fighters because they look human.

this may be true, but Khan is a different kind of fighter.
While hatton seem more stable, and his style doesn't make him lose to inferior fighters often, i can also see Khan beating names hatton would never beat.

Khan is just a volatile fighter. He will sometimes look dazzling and sometimes he will get KO'd against prescott. Hopefully he can manage to keep the latter to a minimum.

Ricky Hatton is highly underrated. The way people talk about him now it's like he's Matthew Hatton.
