That's debatable since I don't imagine the trolls here spending $60 on a PPV. Still, I don't see how that justifies the nonsense and ignorance that floods many of these threads. Things get sickening at times.

I know it's funny how these Margarita lovers think he would have come back and beat Cotto. Margarita had no loaded gloves to break Cotto down like in the first fight, and Margarita doesn't have KO power to KO Cotto either. He couldn't even KO Cotto with loaded gloves. Margarita is pathetic.

IMO. What we saw saturday is what was on its way to happening 3yrs ago until Margaritos wraps got hard and he started bashing Cotto witn bricks.
good point.. what happened dec 3 its what was going to happened if margarito didnt have his plaster of paris lol.. but the truth always comes out one way or another... Margarito is a disgrace to boxing and Mexicans..

everyone thought the eye wasn't going to be an issue and Miguel was going to get chewed up by Margarito, that the fight would be stopped earlier this time because Cotto was "washed up" lol.. way to call it Marg fans

Cotto was boxing a lot more and staying off the ropes to avoid letting Margarito go off on him. If he would of fought like the first time, he would of gotten beat. He fought really smart, though not really crowd pleasing outside of his fans, PRs and boxing purists.

I agree with you. Cotto's footwork looked better then any of his previous fights. Staying off the ropes was key.

Cotto was drilling Margarito with hard combinations, sticking and moving from a walking punching bag, how was he not crowd pleasing? It was only a matter of time before Tony got seriously injured. Cotto's power lies in thudding, accumulative blows. People can brush off his punches all they want but the end result speaks for itself. When I watch this fight all I can think of is the Maussa fight, a tall, slow lanky guy who tries to walk Cotto down and take his best punch. If only the dude threw with the frequency of Margarito, although the scenario still plays out similarly. Busted up and outclassed by a higher IQ fighter. Cut stoppage.

Exactly!! Sticking and MOVING. He didn't plant himself to stay long enough to get off on him. You know it as well as I do the majority of people don't find boxing and moving as pleasing as two guys going at it (which was the case in the 1st). Unless it's one of their boxers, etc. But I understand that is how you beat a pressure fighter, by either boxing or out toughing him. FYI, not saying it wasn't pleasing to me cause I like a good boxing match. But this 2nd fight made me believe the first one even much more that Margarito didn't cheat. But I will never know, just thinking with logic.
