Nope. He wasn't as good as Ike Ibeabuchi, who I think would be undisputed champion EVEN IF Lewis was still around. Klitschko lost to Lewis so he definitely won't be remembered as great. Ike never lost a fight and people already forgot about him.

First of all, the NO WAY part was in response to you saying that Valuev will be hyped like Vitali was. I should've been more clear. I said Vitali would beat him just to show you that he isnt good enought to be hyped up by the media.

Nor were there many all time greats fighting at time in the HW division. Holy and Tyson were shot, he didnt get a chance to fight Lewis. He ktfo Byrd who was considered a great fighter.

Anyway....no one is saying Ike was great. We're just saying he had all the tools necessary to be great.

David Tua was nothing special. A short guy with great power a good chin but NO SKILL. He will not be considered great just like Vitali will not.

Okay if you put it that way Vitali is 0-1 against all time greats. Ike is 0-0 against all time greats. I think I'd rather be 0-0 so the question mark is looming there rather than 0-1, meaning I had a chance and lost.

Ike retired undefeated.

I'd say people are always going to say Ike could have been all that whereas Vitali had his chance to be great and failed to seize it.
