I actually missed the Khan fight, only saw parts of RJ's fight. Im not surprised at all anymore about controversy...I EXPECT it now, I guess...the ref taking the points away, he had to know that was going to be a VERY controversial call...and ultimately bad for boxing...(for pushing?? Did he REALLY push him hard enough to get points taken away...what did u think??)
Hops-Chad..to clarify...

Nice to see you're still sore about Hopkins' legit injury, John.
I don't blame you for being pissed about the result of the fight, with all that you and Chad put into the training : But this conspiracy theory BS on your part has to stop. You're riding Bernard's **** like it's the gravytrain to fame.

Bottom line is B-Hop needs to retire. He's been faking anything you can think of for years...(low blows, rabbit punches, injuries).... He's embarrassing himself and ripping off the fans. **** him and his hipster glasses...Comment

man I've never seen a ref take a point two times in a fight for pushing off. It wasn't a hard push it was your standard push off that everyone in boxing does.I actually missed the Khan fight, only saw parts of RJ's fight. Im not surprised at all anymore about controversy...I EXPECT it now, I guess...the ref taking the points away, he had to know that was going to be a VERY controversial call...and ultimately bad for boxing...(for pushing?? Now some people will come in and say "well the ref warned khan a bunch of times" which he did but he never gave him a hard warning or said "look you do it again I'm taking a point" they both came suddenly.
The second deduction was the worst because for one, the fight was VERY close and it was in the 11th round or something like that and the push off was barely a push and khan was clearly winning that round.
I don't mind the decision though as it was a close fight, I just hate to see very questionable point deductions decide the outcome of a fight.
I mean it was pushing off! How man times did Cotto push of Margarito? 25 times? How many times did Mosley do it? How many times does floyd push off with his forearms? Everyone pushes off.Comment

he's had some stinkers but lets not forget between those stinkers he's had some fabulous fights. Before Dawson he had two tremendous fights with Pascal. Before Roy Jones he schooled Pavlik. Before Calzaghe he schooled Tarver.
If hopkins wants to keep fighting this his decision, no one has to watch him if they don't want to.Comment

I've never seen a ref take points for pushing. Neither have the commentators and I'm sure they've watched more fights than I have. The ref did it not once, but twice. Peterson was also pushing, but got away with it. The one neutral judge had Khan winning, and the remaining two American judges just so happen to have Peterson winning by just 1 point after the deductions. I didn't think a superstar like Amir Khan would get jobbed no matter where he goes.
If and when Dawson fights Pascal again, it's probably going to be in Canada because of all the money they bring in. You need to constantly remind him that he needs to win by stoppage. But I'm sure he's figure that out by now.Comment

I have no issue with him taking one point once it was excessive pushing and Kahn was pushing with his forearms and elbows. He should have called time and given Kahn a hard warning but he also shouldn't have called that BS knockdown. Whatever tho it was great fight and I have a feeling this will give Kahn a reason to stay at 140 for a rematch in England which I think he'll win.I've never seen a ref take points for pushing. Neither have the commentators and I'm sure they've watched more fights than I have. The ref did it not once, but twice. Peterson was also pushing, but got away with it.
