I exchange tweets from time to time with Ortiz' manager. He's been enthusiastic about Ortiz fighting for the WBA title, so if it's Oquendo-Chagaev they are not going to be happy.

          • New HW Ring rankings:

Champion: Wladimir Klitschko, 62-3, 52 KO

            1 Kubrat Pulev, 20-0, 11 KO
            2 Alexander Povetkin, 26-1, 18 KO
            3 Bermaine Stiverne, 24-1-1, 21 KO
            4 Tyson Fury, 22-0, 16 KO
            5 Vyacheslav Glazkov, 17-0-1, 11 KO
            6 Tomasz Adamek, 49-3, 29 KO
            7 Chris Arreola, 36-4, 31 KO
            8 Deontay Wilder, 31-0, 31 KO
            9 Bryant Jennings, 18-0, 10 KO
            10 Tony Thompson, 39-4, 26 KO.

It's good that they dropped out the inactive Robert Helenius and added Thompson, but they have Arreola too high at #7.

            • Of all the sanctioning bodies, the IBF appears to have the most accurate hw rankings - I can't argue too much with that list. It's not perfect but it's much more accurate than any of the other alphabet orgs
