Hougigo said yesterday that the committee gets together to ok it if it is in the top 20, now you're saying top 40 ?
The WBC have guys like Parker outside the top 15 and are allowing their champion to fight literally anybody he wants, the levels they plummet are a joke. All will be forgiven if a unification comes before the Povetkin mandate, surely Haymon has promised them big money if it comes to fruition. I see no other explanation to them allowing these joke defences.Comment

I don't understand how it can be circumvented ! So the WBC ok we know they will reshuffle the pack accordingly but where does it state he can take an optional defence outside the top 15 ?

Then again, WBC does whatever
Well there it is, it's basically we have these rules but we can get together and change them on a whim ! Their really isn't any more to it is there.
With Haymon and his finances anything is possible and bs walks.
Hopefully this is just a one off and we get straight into action after this one. I can't see Povetkin fight happening, anybody else actually think that fight goes ahead ?Comment
