I can understand why some boxing fans dislike Hopkins because he says some crazy crap sometimes but you have to respect what he has done in the ring. He's an all time great and if you disagree then you are simply a damn moron.

With the injury, it doesn't matter if he jumped on Dawson or if Dawson slammed him. What matters is the injury was actually legitimate because the damn thing was diagnosed by a doctor so discussing if the injury was real or not is ****ing ******ed.

When I had a rotator cuff injury - I could barely lift my arm for 4 months, let alone think about hitting a speed bag, lifting a weight, etc. -rtausch-

I think you're giving B-Hop a little too much credit.
I may be wrong, but I think John's referring to the idea that the facial pains may be an indication that Hopkins was injured coming into the bout.

One last push by Team Dawson before the decision gets overturned. That's all.
But Cupo, do u really think a 46 year old man heals better than a 28 year old? I mean, LISTEN, I dont care who it is...the separation AND the tear that he claims he endured in that fight is NOT healing up enough for him to spar in 3 months...I dont care who it is...NO WAY is he sparring...he could be my best friend but Im not going to go against facts...its not a push by us...I read his interview today about sparring and I am calling him on it, thats all...Im sure the CSAC isnt going to be influenced by a thread on a message board...whatever is going to happen is going to happen...a NC is very fine with me by the way...

Also, YES, his making pain faces ON THE WAY down would point to him having a pre-exisiting injury (as has been specualted by many insiders)...and if he was already injured then he obviously shouldnt have fought...

Watching the fight live, I didn't believe the injury.

The antics in the RJJ fight...the 5 minute rest in the Calzaghe fight, which was a blatant play (coming from the master of low blows and hip shots). I would even go so far as to say...the first Robert Allen fight...I don't know...I'm sceptical on that one. I consider myself a good judge of character and eyes tell a lot. That was shaping up to be a difficult night for B-Hop ...

But I can never know for sure on any of those things, because I'm not Hopkins.

u guys are idiots saying hopkins "jumped onto" dawson...come on do u know how ridiculous that sounds? granted he was losing the fight and hopkins has some crazy tricks up his sleeve, but all hopkins was doing, was committing to the right hand he threw, he stepped into it and dawson leaned in underneath it

if u look closely, u can see that dawson has his left glove underneath hopkins leg lifting it up, and that creates the illusion that hopkins is jumping

as for the injury, how can u say he's faking it, u guys have no right of accusing a world class fighter, one of the ATGs of faking an injury...explain to me how 3 months is too early to be going back to sparring...unless u have medical credentials...u can't say that...comparing one shoulder injury to another is plain ******, cuz every injury is different, and maybe hopkins is making good progress in rehab, maybe he just recovers from injuries faster that others...did that ever cross anyones minds?? apparently not.

bottom line, hopkins is not faking, 3 months is plenty of time, can't wait for him to get back in the ring.

Hops is a great fighter, proven legend etc etc I KNOW THIS...but I am going by the laws of the human body...an injury like he says he recieved and he's going to spar in JANUARY? Three months or less after he got it? NO....WAY...NO...FREAKING...WAY...I had a shoulder injury that was bad, got it in a fight, and it wasnt -according to what they are calling his- as bad as his...and I could NO WAY spar three months later...I did the rehab, etc etc...and three months later sparring? NO WAY. I sparred about 5 months later and the first time I did my opponent hit me on the OPPOSITE shoulder and the chain reaction it started caused TREMENDOUS pain...the shoulder is full of very tender soft tissue...the injury he says he got in that fight is NOT going to see him sparring in January. Now if he had a lesser injury that he is trying to make seem worse then sure maybe he coud get in there for easy work...but January is pushing it for the separation he says he got...dont take my word for it, ask a doctor...I did..I called a doctor in Hartford as soon as I read th enews and he told me the same stuff, he broke it down for me medically...but, AGAIN, I suffered a similar injury and I know the pain involved so I have some inside knowledge onthis scenario, YES...
Youre not a doctor, and your post makes it obvious, Hopkins injured the ligament that holds your clavicle to your shoulder. It doesn't take the kind of strain that a TENDON would take in the shoulder. It takes less time to heal as a result. He suffered a separated AC join, not a torn rotator cuff.

You embarrass yourself every time you bring up your conspiracy theory.

Strange, that wasn't your attitude the first time you brought up your conspiracy theory. You were quite insistent that Dawson won.

Dr Natas will have something to refute this.
